Makayla so many times Nana has wanted to write this Yet every time I start I cant So now Im gonna try On my 50th birthday there was avery special little girl born Her name was Makayla Rose Smith (yeah that's you) I remember the day I found out you were gonna be joining us. I didnt believe mommy and daddy. Then I saw your ultrasound picture I was so happy I was on cloud nine. The day you arrived was one of the happiest days of my life. i was there at the hospital to welcome you. all i could think was Wow you are beautiful. Those eyes and that beautiful hair I couldnt wait to hold you!! When you opened your eyes you won all our hearts You had Nana wrapped around your little finger That smile. Oh so pretty. To think we shared birthdays. I was so proud I called everybody. Such a happy little girl. how I looked forward to so many things birthdays, our lunches together.So many dreams Sadly all to soon you had to leave us. That awful call that awful ride I felt like I was in a nightmare waiting to wake up. Im still waiting to wake up!!!! We had to say goodbye way to soon. Yet I will never truly say goodbye to you cuz you are always in my heart. When I find a penny I know you are with me When I feel a breeze I know its you. I see you in so many things I talk to you all the time Sweetheart I know you are always with me. I sing our special little song to stars knowing only you can hear me.
